Weekly Mowing
32 weekly lawn services (April 01-October 31). Service includes mowing (proper height for grass species and time of year to promote healthy growth), Trimming (trimming grass areas that cannot be maintained by mowers), Edging of driveways and sidewalks, and blowing all grass clipping debris to prevent clumping and thatch build up.
Aeration and overseeding
Aeration and overseeding services are essential for maintaining a healthy lawn. Aeration involves using a machine to create small holes in the soil, allowing air, water, and nutrients to reach the grass roots more effectively. This process helps reduce soil compaction, improves drainage, and enhances nutrient uptake, which is crucial for the lawn's overall health.
Overseeding is the practice of planting new grass seed directly into an existing lawn without tearing up the turf. This method is often done right after aeration because the holes created by aeration provide perfect pockets for the new seeds to settle into. Overseeding can fill in thin or bare patches, introduce healthier grass varieties, and improve the lawn's resistance to diseases and drought.
7 Step Weed control and fertilization
Step 1: Late Winter Pre-Emergent Application
A late winter application of pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control is applied to minimize or eliminate weed germination.
Step 2: Early Spring Fertilizer & Spot Weed Control Application
An early-spring application of granular fertilizer is applied to accelerate a quick spring green-up. Spot treat weeds and apply direct weed control to any that are present.
Step 3: Mid-spring Pre-Emergent Application
A mid-spring application of pre-emergent and post-emergent weed control is applied to minimize or eliminate weed germination. These early-season repeated applications are to address weeds that germinate at different times while providing an extended coverage window.
Step 4: Early Summer Turf Treatment & Spot Weed Control Application
An early-summer application of fertilizer is applied to promote turf vigor and color.
Step 5: Mid Summer Turf Treatment & Spot Weed Control Application
A mid-summer application of granular fertilizer is applied to promote turf vigor and color.
Step 6: Late Summer Root Treatment & Spot Weed Control Application
A late-summer application of granular fertilizer is applied to promote root growth and revitalize overall plant health. Spot treat weed control to any that are present.
Step 7: Early Fall Pre-Emergent and Post-Emergent Weed Control
An early fall application of pre and post-emergent weed control will address any weeds that germinate late and address any weeds that were able to survive previous treatments. This final treatment of the year will make for a much better lawn next year!
Leaf removal
Seasonal leaves clean up and removal. Offering full-service leave clean up (we do it all from when they fall from the tree until they are gone from your property), or roadside leaf removal.
Pruning
Professional pruning does more than just shape bushes or cut back overgrowth. Like trees, shrubs benefit from deadwooding – the removal of dead or diseased portions of the plant. When carefully timed with the growing season, pruning shrubs also encourages more robust growth.
